Danijel Premuš is a water polo player and cardiology specialist at Opatija Thalassotherapy. At the Olympic Games in 2004, he played for Croatia, and in 2012. for the Italian national team.

He played for Croatia in major competitions: the Mediterranean Games in 2001, the Olympic Games in 2004, the European Championship in 2006, and the Olympic tournament in London in 2012 where he won gold.

Recently, he is particularly engaged in sports cardiology / medicine, where he is involved in all research activities of the institution.
