Presentation title: Possibilities of financing the development of health tourism in the Republic of Croatia

National Development Strategy to 2030 The Republic of Croatia defines the direction of development of sustainable, innovative and resilient tourism. Special emphasis was placed on the development and promotion of health tourism, which is extremely important for the competitiveness and development of continental and year-round tourism. The 2030 Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy (under development) places emphasis on the development and promotion of health tourism as a priority strategic tourism product with developed value chains and short supply chains. Funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the EU Multiannual Financial Framework will enable investments in the development of thermal riviera on the continent, and on the coast investments in the extension of the season through further development of climate-air thermals and thallaso therapy.
